Throughout history, God has spoken to His people through chosen messengers. Noah. Moses. Daniel. Peter. Paul. John. What about in these momentous end-times? Does God have a chosen messenger today? Based on the past, it makes sense that He would. And He does.
The Bible predicts that:
It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams (Acts 2:17).
In God Speaks Before the End of the World, Pastor Steve Wohlberg presents convincing evidence that one of those predicted “daughters [that] shall prophesy” was Ellen G. White, who was called to the prophetic ministry at the young age of 17. Throughout her lifetime (1827-1915), Mrs. White received over 2,000 prophetic visions and dreams, and authored 40 books, including her classic work, Steps to Christ, which has been translated into over 140 languages. The Spring 2015 issue of the prestigious Smithsonian magazine even named Ellen White as one of “The 100 Most Significant Americans” of all time.
In Scripture, we have a divine test by which we can discern true messengers from false ones. Isaiah 8:20 declares:
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
In this brief 32-page booklet, you’ll discover what God’s Word says about such topics as the loving character of Jesus, His death on the cross for our sins, how to be saved, Christ’s soon return, the Day of Judgment, the Ten Commandments, and the true, biblical Sabbath. In each section, you can then read what Ellen White wrote about the same topic.
Paul wrote, “Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thess. 5:21). Examine the evidence for yourself.
If God is speaking to His people today, don’t you want to hear His voice? “He who has an ear,” Jesus Christ said, “let him hear what THE SPIRIT SAYS to the churches” (Revelation 2:7).
