I think it’s safe to assume that most everyone reading this E-News has a cell phone, and that most have this handy little device within arm’s reach 24/7. I recently read that the average age that a child gets their first phone is now 10 years old! And we’ve all seen the young among us showing us older folks how to use these ‘smart phones’ at one time or another, so young and old alike are connected! Life has certainly changed in this digital age we now find ourselves a part of…like it or not.
Late yesterday morning, I received an alert notification on my phone along with 225 million other Americans. It was the first ever FEMA Presidential Alert test, giving the president of the United States ‘instant’ access to potentially every cell phone in America in the case of a ‘National Emergency.’ Stop and think about that for a minute. That’s remarkable! There was a lot of chatter too about this highly publicized test. Some proclaimed this alert system might be misused by President Trump to regularly ‘blast’ his political adversaries. Others threatened to simply turn off their phones. How about you? Did you get the message? Do you remember what it said?
“THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
While this is really a benign statement in and of itself…please re-read it…with your prophetic glasses on.

We know, prophetically speaking, that there’s a big test coming. In the book of Revelation, Jesus called it “the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Revelation 3:10. Friends, the signs are all around us that this test isn’t far away. When it does hit, swift ‘action is needed’! Are we preparing our hearts? Are we laying up our treasures in heaven…not on earth? Are we doing all we can to honor God in these last days?
“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” (Matthew 9:37).

How come you don’t talk about Trump’s ANTICHRIST personality traits? He has been reported to have told over 3,000 LIES since becoming president. Does this not concern you, Steve?
Hello David, the focus of this Enews is not Trump’s personality, but his alert, and a spiritual lesson we can draw from this.
