I’m in a hotel in Pulaski, Tennessee, getting ready to speak tonight at the Media Center for Apocalyptic Ministries. I slept great last night and feel terrific. Praise the Lord! As we near the end of 2019, I want you to feel good, too, which is one reason why my associate Pastor Ron Fleck and I have slashed the cost of our new “Sprouting with Steve” online video course from $97 to only $49.95. Honestly, don’t those fresh veggies look mouthwatering? They taste great! If you’ve never eaten a freshly-grown 100% sprout/microgreen salad—well, you don’t know what you’re missing! Just to clarify. I surely believe that our Number 1 priority in life should be to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ. That said, it’s also true that our daily service for King Jesus depends a lot on our health. If we feel rotten all the time, it’s harder to serve God.
Perhaps this is one reason why John wrote: “I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health” (3 John 2). Paul also wrote: “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Cor. 6:19, 20). Believe me, one of the best ways to boost your health is to saturate your cells with nutrition from fresh, living, nutrient-loaded sprouted seeds and microgreens. And remember, Jesus Christ made those seeds, sprouts, and colorful plants (see John 1:10) to bless our bodies. Surely it pleases Him when we enjoy His food that He made for our health.
As we approach the end of 2019, why not include in your list of “resolutions” making 2020 “A Year of Health.”
