Western US on Fire!

Share

Here is a map showing recent and current fires in the western US.

Here is a picture of the Bidwell Bar Bridge over Lake Oroville, California:

Growing up in California, we’ve seen a lot of fires, but NEVER anything like this. Over 20 large fires are burning now. It’s a record-breaking season of fire devastation. “It feels like the end of the world,” one woman said on a news report. People are leaving the state in droves. To help people grasp the big picture, this is a perfect time to share our White Horse Media pocketbook, “Making Sense of Deadly Disasters.”

God says: “And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath; blood and fire and vapors of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord.” Acts 2:19,20.

I recently gave this message below. It’s now available for you to watch here. Warning: Handle with prayer!

If you are looking for a great book about Bible translations, I recommend “Bible Versions: Does It Matter Which One?” by my good friend Dr. Ron Fleck. Now available from White Horse Media.

We live in awful, sober, yet exciting times. Surely Jesus is coming soon!

Let’s be ready.

A special thank you to all who have been praying for and supporting White Horse Media.

May Jesus be close to us all.

  1. I am from where the fires are/were. I too lost my home in the fire last year in N. Calif.. a note to anyone reading this; if there is a fire run to a gov. building. I watched the firemen – many of them at 2 am protecting the local post office, next to a fire dept. and sheriff dept. in Magalia, Calif. I drove around my neighborhood which was exactly 1 mile from the post office; there were approx. 10 fire trucks in the rite-aid driveway. I thought these people would be driving around the neighborhood putting out hot spot-; never happened. I was told later from people who were on police scanners the night of the fire the subordinates’ asked the fire captain on what to do with the burning house’s – he said ‘let them burn.’; I sent the state of California a bill for 25k.
