WHM Seminar Opening Nov. 17,18 / Las Vegas Tragedy / Trinity Controversy

Share

God truly blessed our “Startling Prophecies for America” Bible prophecy seminar last weekend in Dallas, Oregon. A hearty THANK YOU to those who prayed. The Holy Spirit was present, impressing hearts, which was very encouraging to me. The Lord is so good! You can watch the same seminar previously recorded here

Cancellation/November opportunity: Normally our seminars are scheduled over a year in advance, but we just had an unexpected cancellation of our November 17,18, 2017 meeting, which means that I am available to hold a seminar in your church that weekend, if God leads. We still have a month and a half to prepare, which is enough time. If your church is interested, let me know (steve@whitehorsemedia.com). We will fill this opening on a first come, first serve basis.

We all know about Sunday night’s Las Vegas massacre. How terrible! Let’s be praying for the wounded and for those suffering the unspeakable loss of loved ones. This quote is timely: “Already the Spirit of God, insulted, refused, abused, is being withdrawn from the earth. Just as fast as God’s Spirit is taken away, Satan’s cruel work will be done upon land and sea.” Last Day Events, 242. What happened in Las Vegas is another example of “Satan’s cruel work.” Because of rampant sin in our world, God is withdrawing His Spirit and protection (see Gen. 6:3; Rev. 7:1-4). Satan hates and kills. Jesus loves, gives life, and saves. See John 10:10. Here’s an amazing new apocalyptic USA Today article about all the tragedies we’ve recently seen entitled, Storms, earthquakes, North Korea and now the Las Vegas massacre. We have to wonder: ‘What’s next?’ Yes, we have to wonder. Surely now is the time to make sure we’re on God’s side in the great controversy between good and evil.

Do you have questions about the Trinity? In my own denomination — Seventh-day Adventist — a controversy is brewing over whether the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are really three, separate, co-eternal Persons, or not. For those who are interested, here is an excellent article on the topic entitled, “A Historical Analysis of the Trinity in Seventh-day Adventism.” Additionally, this coming weekend, October 6,7, White Horse Media will film and live stream at the Newport Washington Seventh-day Adventist Church a special three-hour seminar entitled, “The Mystery of the Trinity,” conducted by British Columbia evangelist Justis St. Hilaire. Meeting times are 7:00 PM PT (Friday night), Sabbath morning at 11:00 AM PT, and Sabbath afternoon @ 3:00 PM PT. If you live near Newport, join us. If not, you can watch the seminar live on our Youtube Channel at the times listed below. FYI, Mr. Hilaire believes that the doctrine of the tri-unity of the Godhead is biblical. So do we. See Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14.

Many have already ordered our easy-to-share Halloween tract, Trick or Truth. There’s still time to order online, or by phone (1-800-782-4253).

May Jesus be close to each of us in these difficult days before He returns.

More to come …

  2. Would you consider doing a series but not with the local SDA church here…we are not in a good situation in our church, I firmly believe the Ontario Conference is now mainly run by Jesuits and I believe our pastor is one of them….our work is not getting done here….I hand out literature as best as I can but would like to do evangelism in this city….let me know what you think as you said you have a weekend open in November thanks 🙂 Laurie PS we could rent a local venue…the only problem is if people did want to be baptized? I am considering starting a home church, things are really bad here….they do NLP on us etc….long story

    1. Laurie, we are not in the habit of holding seminars apart from a connection with a local church, simply because attendees learn new truth about the Sabbath, etc, and need to have somewhere to go for fellowship and growth. It is best for a local church to be able to nurture these people who have learned new truth. I find it hard to believe that the OC is as bad as you suggest. May God help us!
