Watch Now: “God’s Final Warning” / Introducing the King James Easy Reader Bible
Below is a direct link to the video of my first talk in Soquel, California, entitled, “God’s Final Warning: The Three Angels’ Messages.” In the future, I will post links to my other messages for easy viewing. As you watch this first message, I think you will be impressed (as I surely am) about the present importance of the Three Angels’ Messages recorded in Revelation 14:6-12. Truly, these messages are life-and-death, and life-changing. I hope you will be richly blessed.
White Horse Media is also pleased to announce that we are now distributing a new version of the Bible called, “The King James Version Easy Reader Bible” (KJVER). Personally, my view is that God surely does use different translations of His Word to reach human hearts, but I also believe that some translations are more accurate to the original Hebrew and Greek than others. Looking at the big picture, BY FAR the most popular, widely-purchased, and widely-read translation of all time is the King James Version of the Bible. Yet today many would prefer an updated version, without some of the old English. “The King James Version Easy Reader Bible” (KJVER) fits the bill. Unlike even the popular New King James Version, which does have some significant doctrinal differences from the KJV, the KJVER Bible stays true to the original KJV, while updating old English words. It even has a precise list of all the words that have been updated, and stresses that there are NO DOCTRINAL CHANGES FROM THE KJV.
You can view options on White Horse Media’s website here. Personally, I’ve been using the New King James Version for many years, but now I’ve switched. I now have two copies of the KJVER Bible: One, a Large Print Personal Size version that I travel with and preach from, plus a larger Giant Print version for reading at home. I really like these Bibles and am being richly blessed as I read them. “Your word,” wrote King David, “is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105, KJVER). If you have questions, or are interested in the King James Easy Reader Bible, call our staff next week. They will be happy to talk to you. 1-800-782-4253.
If you want to learn more about Bible translations, and about the benefits of reading the KJV or KJVER, read the article, “A Creationist’s Defense of the King James Bible,” by Henry Morris of the Institute of Creation Research. This same article is in the Study Helps of the KJVER Bible (the ones that have Study Helps).
Have a blessed weekend, and remember, Jesus Christ is coming soon!
