“Then shall the sanctuary be cleansed,” predicts the book of Daniel (see Daniel 8:14). Most Christians have no clue what this prophecy means, yet Gabriel (God’s special angel messenger) declared, “Understand … for at the time of the end shall be the vision.” Daniel 8:17. What sanctuary is to “be cleansed”? Cleansed from what? What does this prophecy have to do with God’s people in these end-times? Most importantly, what does it have to do WITH YOU AND ME?
