Many of you have heard about my horrible trial last summer, and about how Jesus Christ mercifully rescued me from a very dark hole. During those summer months, I really thought my life and ministry was about to end. Satan’s goal was: “Steve Wohlberg, 1959-2017. RIP.” But the devil was defeated. Praise the Lord Jesus! David wrote, “He also brought me up out of a horrible pit … And set my feet upon a rock … He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God! Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:2,3. Jesus has worked similar wonders for me. Alleluia! The details of my nightmare and rescue are in White Horse Media’s newest pocketbook, Help for the Hopeless, which is now available. I hope that those who read it will “trust in the Lord” too.

Spring has sprung here in North Idaho and it is exciting to see tiny buds bulging on my fruit trees. I love working in my garden, but I am doubly blessed to have this new opportunity this week to lift up my Savior, His love, and His truth. As I think about fruit trees, I realize that the fruit of souls won for God’s kingdom is life’s greatest prize and joy. “He who wins souls is wise,” wrote King Solomon in Proverbs 11:30.
As mayhem increases on earth, let’s all do our best to serve the King.
