Exposing THE GREAT DECEPTION. Rocks that Talk (recommended book)

Share

There is a GREAT DECEPTION enslaving the minds of millions who claim to know Jesus Christ. Is that possible? Yes it is. Do you want to know what THE GREAT DECEPTION is? If I show you from the Bible, will you believe what God says? I hope so! Here it is. John wrote: “Hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says, ‘I know Him,’ and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:3,4. Here John wrote that a person can say, “I know Him,” meaning, “I know God.” But what is the proof, or evidence, of this claim? No, it isn’t “speaking in tongues,” as some claim. Instead, it is whether he or she “keeps His commandments.” If they are not willing to do this (by the power of God), the person is “a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

Tough words.

But these are God’s words.

Last Saturday (April 25) White Horse Media live streamed a special program exposing THE GREAT DECEPTION. God really blessed it! If you missed it, you can watch the replay below. Our title was “Ten Commandments: Abolished or Unchangeable?” I highly recommend that you watch it, and share it with others who may be struggling with this same GREAT DECEPTION. When you have some quiet time, just click the picture below. Then open your Bible, and follow closely, comparing Scripture with Scripture.

On a separate note, two good friends of mine, Dr. Kevin and Sherlyn Bryant, visited our home recently in Priest River, Idaho. During one visit, Sherlyn handed me a signed copy of a book she authored entitled, Rocks that Talk. To be honest, I receive a lot of books from others, and I don’t have time to read them all. But I decided to read Sherlyn’s book during my morning and evening quiet time with Jesus.

What a delightful, inspiring book! I thought to myself many times.

Rocks that Talk gives the reader an inside view into Sherlyn’s personal life, highlighting lots of instances when God worked in miraculous ways to help her, save her, or save the life of a loved one. Following the advice of the prophet Samuel to Israel to set up a memorial stone as a reminder of God’s mercy, Sherlyn began taking rocks, and writing words on them, each time God did something special in her life. Thus Rocks that Talk is about remembering God’s mercy and acts in a person’s life—including yours. As I read story after story, I was inspired and encouraged to never forget what God has done for me, too.

I highly recommend Rocks that Talk to those who want to read a simple, heart-touching, and inspiring book that will bring you closer to God. If you are interested in purchasing a copy (which I’m sure Sherlyn would sign for you), send an email (include your address) to rocks.that.talk1sam712@gmail.com, and Sherlyn will tell you how to purchase it. The cost is $17, which includes S&H.

Again, I definitely recommend this book!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” Psalm 103:2.

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not grievous.” 1 John 5:3.
