“Crazy ants are on the march” reported ABC, “with a taste for everything from livestock to electrical equipment, and they are so obnoxious that many residents yearn for the good old days when all they had to fight was red ants that are quickly being wiped out by the crazies.”
If you read the article linked above and see a close-up picture of one of those ants, you may be impressed (like I am) that these critters look absolutely ghastly — like tiny demons. Frighteningly, they are fast spreading across the U.S. “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea,” warned the author of the book of Revelation, “for the devil has come down to you having great wrath, because he knows he has but a short time.”
Can Satan enter God’s creatures, or mold them into his image? Read Mark 5:13. Demons entered into 2,000 pigs. Thus it is possible for evil spirits to enter God’s creatures. So why not bugs? I’m not sure, but my opinion is that It is quite possible that as we near the close of time, Lucifer and his fallen angels (see 2 Peter 2:4) will increasingly enter into and transform many people, animals, and even some insects into his own agents to carry out his work of destruction.
